Responsibilities:
This is a challenging position reporting to the Senior Manager (Services). The major responsibilities are-
- Installation, trouble shooting & maintenance of different types of Industrial automation system used in production & services departments of the plant.
- Clear understanding of basic electronics, logic controls of analogue & digital systems, by use of modern controllers, PLC as used in Industrial machines.
- Be able to understand & trouble shoot the Electronics & Instruments areas of customized software & hardware used in production machines, Compressors, Generators, Batching plant, Furnace control systems where Universal digital controllers, PLC, SCADA, GCM and modern electronic logic techniques are used for effective process control.
- Must be aware of basic modern electrical components used in Industrial automation system. (Inverter, VFD, soft starters, electronic positioner, logic controllers, other electronic components and their functional aspects in practical application).
Education and Additional job requirements:
- Educational Requirements: Minimum B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical & Electronics with Electronics as major and must have 5 to 10 years’ experience in the above fields. Qualification may be relaxed in case of experienced Diploma Engineers with maximum 15 years of field level experience
- Age Limit: 30 to 45 years; age may be relaxed in deserving cases.
